Since the introduction of laser technology in the 1980s, Jensen Metals has prided themselves on being the Midwest's "leaders in lasers." We are able to handle all your low to high-capacity laser needs.
Our brand new LVD Axel Laser
Recently Purchased, This brand new 4000 watt, 3 axis, auto load/ unload laser has enabled Jensen Metal to be competitive in price and delivery. We are now able to cut up to 3/4” thick sheet steel. It has also enabled us to run “lights out”. With two towers housing 28 different types of steel and the auto load/ unload system this machine is usually left running unattended, even on the weekends! In turn the customer sees a clean cut part at a clean cut price.
Laser/ Punch combo machines
Our three Strippit Turret-Punch Lasers are capable of cutting on 2 axis and have a capacity of 1/4" sheet metal. These machines are setup for higher volume production-type runs. They can house 33 different punches in one setup.
1500 Watt Strippit "helios" laser
Our three-axis Helios laser is able to add a third-dimension to your laser cutting needs. Where conventional lasers cut on an X and Y axis, our Helios cuts on an X, Y and Z axis. This machine is also ideal for short run manufacturing. Since there is no need for hard-tooling, setup times are minimal - which, in the end, reduces customer cost.
